Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is meant for those who have already studied or are studying Japanese Language and wish to get their knowledge of Japanese tested and certified by the designated Japanese agency namely The Japan Foundation.

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) will be held on 2^th December 2012 in New Delhi Center.

New Levels:

N 1: Approximately the same level as the current Level 1 test, but designed to measure slightly more advanced abilities.

N 2: Approximately the same level as the current Level 2 test.

N 3: Positioned at a level bridging the current Level 2 and Level 3 tests. (Newly established)

N4: Approximately the same level as the current Level 3 test.

N5: Approximately the same level as the current Level 4 test.

Fees

Application Fee:
(Booklet with Form) Rs 100/= If collected by hand or If by post Rs 150/= ( Rs. 100/= + Rs 50/= Courier/Speed Post charges)

Test Fee:
N 1 (Highest): =1000/-Rs. N 2 : =1000/-Rs. N 3: =1000/-Rs.

N4:=800/-Rs. N5:=800/-Rs.

Closing Dates:
Issue of Application Form from 06^th July to 08^th September, 2012

Closure of Receipt of completed Application:
September 14^th, 2012 (Friday)

Where to get the form and submit:

Category 1.
-Collective Applications from Students studying at:
Students from DU, JNU, JAPROC, NIHONGO Centre, MOSAI Institute of Japanese Language: Collective Submission Collect applications from your institution. Ensure that at least five students collectively submit a single demand draft for all the five applications. Demand draft should be in favor of "Mombusho Scholars Association of India" payable at New Delhi. Submit the application with demand draft to your institution.
* Institution may not accept individual application with individual demand draft

Category 2.
-Individual Applicants:
All those not enrolled at any of the above institutions should get Appllication Form personally to the below address:

Obtain applications form, complete it and submit it to Mr. Subhash Poonia at MOSAI Institute with requisite fee in the form of Cash/Demand Draft in favour of “Mombusho Scholars Association of India” payable at New Delhi.
